HammerHead Events

Hammerhead Events is a new-age events company that provides international and local artists with an all-round promotional, concert and event service. We were established by two music enthusiasts who met on the African music scene.

David Ter Steege

Director

Dave has been at the front of house to some of the biggest events in Africa for the last 38 years. He has toured and sound engineered for all the top South African artists including Prime Circle, and is one of the music industry’s most sought after acoustic engineers. Dave has had the honour of working with countless international acts both in Africa and abroad.

Michael Cullerton

Director

Mike has worked behind the scenes of Africa’s music industry for two decades and has assisted with the orchestration of some of the biggest productions in Africa. He has worked and toured with a host of top South African music acts including Prime Circle, Just Jinjer and Watershed.

Both men started at the very bottom of the backstage ladder of the music industry, as roadies; rolling cables and carrying guitars. Each has had hands on experience with regards to what it entails to ensure a successful production from the setting up of staging, backstage to artist management as well as events promotion and venue procurement. With the combined experience each man brings to the table, this partnership ensures every aspect of your event is covered.

Hammerhead Events exclusive goal is to utilize the combined skills of Dave & Mike to build up and promote the African music Industry. Their aim is to bridge the gap between the local African and International market which includes aiding upliftment and promotion of the Zambian music industry.

Hammerheads Events aspires to create growth opportunities for the Zambian communities by procuring only local services and resources, and dedicating a portion of all profits to a local charity.
